Example Research Areas
-
Emerging Tech Security
We specialize in the dynamic realm of Emerging Technologies, developing cutting-edge solutions to safeguard against evolving threats. With a primary focus on Vulnerability Research, we meticulously uncover potential weaknesses within emerging technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, and blockchain. Additionally, our expertise extends to Exfiltration Methods and Techniques, where we delve into the intricate methods utilized by cyber adversaries to illicitly extract sensitive data. Through rigorous analysis and testing, we develop proactive measures to fortify defenses, ensuring the resilience of our clients' systems against sophisticated cyber threats.
-
Heterogeneous Networks Security & Reliability
Our Heterogeneous Networks (HetNet) Research is focused on the reliable and secure integration of 5G and Wi-Fi wireless technologies into seamless user experiences. We have developed a deeper understanding of the intricacies of these technologies, including their architectures, features, to determine how they can work together seamlessly and securely. Our research insights have addressed key challenges in interoperability, routing, security, and Quality of Service (QoS) to ensure smooth adoption in both private and public infrastructures. Additionally, we have developed a technology-agnostic HetNet architecture to facilitate effortless network access and policy-driven mobility management, specifically tailored for Government use cases. Our prototype HetNet client and manager are being used to evaluate performance, security, and QoS against various Federal user scenarios. We are also exploring pathways for commercialization by collaborating with our partners to potentially integrate HetNet features into their commercial product platforms.
